Obert is the current Sales & Distribution Director of Telecel Zimbabwe since 2018, responsible for overall sales and distribution operations. He holds a post-graduate MBA degree and an undergraduate degree in Honours Business Studies, both majoring in Marketing and both from the University of Zimbabwe. Obert also holds an Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) Diploma from South Africa. Obert has over 25 years of experience attained from working with companies such as his current employer Telecel Zimbabwe for over 18 years, where he held various titles including Marketing Manager (8 years), Marketing Director (2 years), Marketing Communications Director (6 years), and presently Sales & Distribution Director (2 years). He also has 5 years experience working for National Breweries (now Delta Beverages - Lagers) holding the position of Channel Development Manager and Sales Representative for a total of 5 years. Prior to this he also worked at Chibuku Breweries (now Delta Beverages - Sorghum) as Distribution Supervisor for 2 years.
