Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the posts of FIELD MANAGER within the Individual Life Sales Department at ZB Life Assurance. The successful applicants will be based in Harare.



Purpose of the Job


  • Recruiting, leading, organizing, training and retaining a team of Sales Agents for the purpose of procuring and maintaining good quality new business.



Person Specifications


  • A Degree or Diploma in Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
  • Certificate of Proficiency
  • Sales Management experience of at least 3 years
  • Aged between 30 and 50 years
  • Self-motivated with a passion for results



The Job Entails:



  • Managing a team of sales agents to achieve budgeted sales targets
  • Recruiting, coaching and developing Sales Representatives
  • Scanning the environment for opportunities
  • Maintaining sound and favourable public relations with communities served by the Company.



Skills Required


  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Good planning, organizing, leading and controlling skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Well groomed
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing and internet navigation)
