VACANCY: CONTACT CENTER AGENT (Grade B3) x 6 – GROUP MARKETING AND CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To effectively handle telephone/email/social media requests by processing the information received accurately and efficiently.
  • To deliver a high level  customer service to every  customer
  • To sell ZB products and services via the phone and  social networks
  • To Manage and resolve customer complaints and escalate to supervisors when necessary
  • To provide product and service information to customers
  • To research required information using available resources
  • To document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • To recognise , document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls and follow up customer calls where necessary

 

Qualifications and Attributes

 

  • Minimum of a diploma in  Sales, Marketing, PR, Banking and Finance, Insurance
  • Computer proficiency a must
  • working knowledge of MS Office/ social media
  • Willing to do shift work

VACANCY: MANAGING DIRECTOR –  MICRO-FINANCE UNIT

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Managing Director- ZB Micro- Finance Unit.

 

Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to provide strategic leadership and champion the overall management of the micro-finance institution. It includes providing clear vision and direction, ensuring solid operational and financial performance of the business unit.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Formulating, implementing and reviewing strategies for the micro- finance unit
  • Leading in the crafting, implementing and communication of the company’s vision, mission, values and overall strategy
  • Accountable for operational issues including business operations, budgeting, staffing and business development
  • Human capital resourcing, development, retention and motivation including the creation and sustenance of  a high performance culture
  • Liaising with strategic partners to raise funds , build infrastructure and delivery channels and cultivate strategic relationships
  • Develop a culture of corporate entrepreneurship and innovation within the company
  • Leading in the handling of all corporate governance issues and the management of all business stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial capabilities and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of economic, ethnic, gender and religious diversity.
  •  Proven ability to work under pressure and ability to embrace and manage change at all times. 
  • Strong familiarity with local economic, social and political environment. 

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A business degree from a recognized university
  • A post- graduate management qualification preferably a Masters degree in Management, Executive Certificate or Diploma
  • A minimum of  five ( 5) years managerial experience with at least two years experience in a micro-finance industry
  • A course in micro finance  and experience in a start-up environment are   added advantages
