THE PREMISE OF OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH HIFA
Our approach to business stems from our desire to achieve mutually enriching outcomes with our partners in business. In line with our pay off line, "Investing in Potential", our corporate social responsibility thrust seeks to "contribute towards the social and economic regeneration of communities in which we do our business. In this regard, we have identified six broad potential. These areas include the "Arts and Culture", hence our association with the famous Harare International Festival of the Arts, (HIFA), Zimbabwe?s premier artistic event that brings together all cultures, ages, races and beliefs in celebrating the Zimbabwean arts and culture.
In these difficult times, we at ZB Financial Holdings Limited are committed, passionate and understand that sponsoring and donating is a strategic issue. Under the current adverse economic, social and cultural circumstances, a socially responsible outlook is vital for our business as we recognize that it is ethical and moral to support arts and cultural activities as a way of ploughing back to the community.
Our involvement with HIFA has enabled us to create rapport and good relations with the community, fostering goodwill. We are certainly aware that HIFA promotes activities that bring economic, social and environmental benefits to the people of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is indeed is a country known for its rich and diverse cultural heritage.
When the HIFA promoters indicated to us the requirement for a professional and uniform outlook for their administrative staff, ZB was naturally proud to step in and provide leisure wear in the form of t/shirts and sweat shirts for all the HIFA staff to cover the period, 29th April to 4th May 2008.
ZB in association with HIFA, are proud to have hosted another successful Festival.
